Always fresh. Always fast. Love this Chipotle! Compare this to the Chipotle in Lafayette, and you will be amazing! Absolutely no complains here.

Awesome food always. The staff is friendly and very quick with orders especially when it's busy. Last time I was here, we got white rice that was not fully cooked. The manager replaced our entrees right away, apologized, and wrote our names on a list for another free entree upon our next visit. Now that's what I call customer service!

As others have said, typical Chipotle. They manage to move a line of people through the college town lunch rush quite efficiently. The rice and guac are both better than the other chain burrito restaurants. Ordered a burrito with the new sofrito tofu which was kind of hard to taste among everything else. That won't stop me from ordering it though since its the same price as the veggie. Hooray for veggie options!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Huge bonus to stopping at Chipotle was their nice outdoor patio. There were plenty of tables in the sun and shade to pick a spot that I wanted. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Nice work. I'll be back if I ever find myself in the area again and want a nice patio lunch that I know will taste good.

Yo, they make their food fine as heck. I know some sorrority girls that have a serious fettish for their burritos. On a serious note, the location is easily accesible, walking straight down Chauncey. Just as well, the green motto of the company is positive enough to recruit many fans just on that. Of course, it wouldn't be completely effective if they didn't have great food. They make it simple, fresh to death, and delightfully tastey. Great price for great food. Take a trip and you won't regret it, definitely if you're drunk or in a higher plane.

Booooo! How this place ever close down La Bamba I will never know?! Horrible corporation mexican food owned by McDonald's! Disgusting meals that are overpriced and make you sick. Waste your money at your own risk

The staff is extremely friendly and very professional. The food is like what chipotle has always been: filling, healthy, and seriously delicious. Glad to have them on campus.

I fell in love with Chipotle during my time at West Ladayette during 2013 and 2014. I like the food very much. It is high quality and tasty. I like the staff and managment in this place in particular. I have been in other Chipotles since then especially in Ann Arbor Michigan, Raleigh North Carolina, and other occasional places where I stopped by to eat. They are usually all good enough, but this one was consistently good. The difference is usually in the manager and the employee and the way they run the place (clean, friendly, and quick service).

Not sure if Alex is still the owner, but he is amazing. They were able to help make a 150+ burrito night happen with easy. They also were able to cater to our needs in case we needed more and offered to do 50-100 more burritos on standby. You don't think that they'd be down for catering, but they've got it covered. As for the food and service, it's excellent and fast. Easily better than any other Chipotle I've been to.

I couldn't have gone graduated through college without this restaurant on campus. I have had it at least once every day for my four years at Purdue. It's clean, the workers are friendly and the food is healthy. The best thing about it is that it's cheap and tasty !

  • Andrew H.

Typical chipotle. This is pretty clean and the people working are both efficient and really friendly. It can get busy sunday nights and during the dinner rush in general, but that's typical.

I have never, ever had a bad meal at Chipotle. They just don't exist. So I'm going to bypass the fresh, delicious, addictive food and focus more on the ambiance. This place is LOUD. Really, really loud. There's no point in trying to have a conversation with anybody here. Sitting outside is nice, but you're right on State Street, so that can get noisy and smelly sometimes. During the school year the place is always crowded, but the employees seem to remain calm. I'm stoked that they have tasty brown rice now--it's just as delicious as the white rice but healthier. Also, how do people NOT know that guac is $1.80 extra?? I'm continually surprised by how many people say they don't want it after hearing the extra charge. I would pay anything for that guac, though...

I usually order their veggie salad to go. Excellent place for vegetarian food.

I am a regular customer in this place. The meal is great. They have excellent burritos. very delicious. It is cheap and big in size. Spacious and you can also sit outside. The line moves very fast. The employee are very friendly. I remember once they were run out of rice and i was on the front line and have to wait for 2 more min before the rice comes. And guess what? they didn't charge the whole people who were on the line just because we have to wait additional 2 more minutes. So i got my burrito for free.

Chipotle is a pretty nice burrito chain, and I've had mostly good experiences. The menu is really basic- burrito, tacos, or salad, with chicken, beef, pork, or steak, with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream and your choice of salsas and guacamole. It all adds up to be delicious, no matter what you choose. I think the guacamole here is particularly good, but you have to pay $1.50 extra or so on most of the burritos. I've taken to getting the Veggie burrito, because you can get the guac along with some peppers and onions with the above things for about $6 or so. Very filling. Often makes up two meals, and I'm not exactly svelte.

Chipotle is probably my favorite regular joint. The staff is fantastic, always friendly and seem happy to see me. I usually eat there a couple times a week and get dinner for my wife too (so she thinks it's pretty awesome too). I always get the same thing, burrito with brown rice, veggies, chicken, extra corn salsa, sour cream and cheese. It is one of my favorite things to eat!! Here is the catch....about 20% of the time the burrito just isn't good. Due to my extensive knowledge of how this all works I have determined that it is all in preparation and if the burrito ingredients aren't evenly distributed, especially the sour cream, then it is not very good. So I realize that this may not be too helpful, and I guess the guarantied way to avoid this is to get a bowl that you can mix up yourself (or eat somewhere else), but at an 80% success rate for one of the best things I like to eat, I'll take my chances every time.

One of the Chipotle restaurants that I've been too. It also has a decent amount of indoor seating considering the location. There's some outdoor seating, weather permitting.

Best to-go place near campus...! Have an exam and want to eat something fast, healthy and thrifty...? Well, there's nowhere better than Chipotle. Even though I myself prefer a burrito-bowl, the wrapped burritos are perfectly stuffed, so you won't lose any beans on your way back to the library! They don't mind throwing in some extra rice if you ask politely. The chips'n'salsa won't last long if you have friends for company, so beware! The service is super quick but in spite of that, the queue sometimes starts on the curb-side.

Out of all the big burrito joints in the area, I would have to say Chipotle is my favorite and most consistently visited. I usually stick with the chicken burrito with my choices of ingredients, sometimes guacamole, but like most places, it's around $1.50 to add extra. I never get a drink; I stick with the free water cups. If you're only getting a burrito (sans guacamole), it's very reasonably price. You are guaranteed to not leave the restaurant hungry, more so, uncomfortably full. Chipotle serves beer, although I've never ordered one from there. They also have really nice outside seating that include tables with umbrellas so the sun doesn't beat down on you while you're eating. State St is a little noisy when eating outside, but that's something you have to deal with. Chipotle is conveniently placed for many apartment complexes in the area.

Food is pretty good. I prefer the pork. They really get busy, which if course is great for them, but make me choose the East Side Chipotle when I can. I skip the beans and ask for double rice...it compliments the texture of the pork. I have not come across coupons, discounts, or a loyalty card. :-(

Nothing out of the ordinary in here; just the same food and service you would expect from any other restaurant from this chain. Good location, clean establishment, and decent food.

This is my all time favorite restaurant on campus. I love getting the burrito bowl, and the medium salsa is so good.

Excellent burritos! My fav is the chicken with black beans. The portions r so huge I can usually split it for 2 meals! Shouldn't miss their guacamole n chips too. The guac is superbly good!

Even though I am not a fan of Mexican food I really liked this place. I was astonished by the speed of one of the cookers. My favorite burrito was the beef and black beans one. Actually I think the price keeps coherence with the amount of food you get. As Mark H just stated I also think you can have them split your burrito and have it for two different meals. Totally Agree!

This is an amazing restaurant chain known for making ethical business decisions and having cutting edge responsible practices within the industry. I like that they care about so many aspects of how they do business and how their decisions might impact the world and make it a better place. The food is fresh and one can get a good amount of veggies, something often challenging with fast food. It is the vegetarian burrito that has won my heart here. They do what they do- simple, quick and with quality standards then keep it all so very affordable, it's amazing! It would be wonderful if they ever decided to offer brown rice and multigrain tortillas as an option, but then it would just not be so simple anymore.

Chipotle is the God of Burritos. Chipotle, in my opinion serves the best chain-restaurant burritos EVER. Now that I live 45 mins away from my nearest Chipotle, I travel that far just to get one. As far as the Chipotle in West Lafayette goes, it's always busy. Great place to grab food and the line moves quickly. Seating can be limited sometimes due to the amount of people in there, but you can always take it to one of the lawns around school and eat outside (Weather permitting of course). My favorite thing is the Chicken burrito. Their guacomole is made fresh daily. Only downside to guac is that it's about $1.50 extra on burritos. I feel as though I've outplayed the system and just get the veggie burrito a lot of times (includes guac for free) and with all the beans in there it tastes just like you're eating meat. If you go on a Sunday night be prepared to wait a little longer. Dining halls aren't open for Purdue students on that night and the line at Chipotle can get long. If you happen to go on Halloween, wear tinfoil on your body (that's what they wrap their burritos in) and you'll get a free burrito!!! Some people are creative and make hats or actual outfits out of tinfoil.

What can I say? It's a chain, so the food and overall experience are the same no matter where you go. Considering how quickly you get your meal, the food is very tasty and allows for "healthier" options if you want them (e.g.,less fat by skipping cheese, sour cream and guacamole). The one downside of the meat is that it is too salty sometimes.

This isn't real Mexican food and when I go here I am not expecting real Mexican. What I expect is a delicious burrito or tacos or guacamole, and that is what I get. I am never disappointed. I'd chose this over Qdoba anytime. AND there is outdoor seating.

We have eaten in Chipotle many times and it has always been great. One our party was eating there for the first time though, and liked it as well. I had the veggie burrito fot the umpteenth and it was delicious as ever.

Good-sized portions, but way too spicy for me! I almost never throw away food but had to chuck half my burrito because of the heat. I've not been back, so I don't know if there's a "request mild" option.

great food with a knowledgeable and kind staff. they have really great tacos (if you aren't a person that likes spicy food though, i suggest that you pick another restaurant). food was not super spicy, but mildly spicy. fun environment, and it looks like it would be good for a casual outing with a group.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
